You've got just two weeks to show us your favourite building in Bradford.
That is the challenge of an exciting photographic competition to highlight the district's most beautiful and imposing buildings.
The architecture photography competition has been launched by the Telegraph & Argus with the Priestley Centre for the Arts in Little Germany and photo experts Jessop's.
Amateur photographers who enter have the chance to win several top-range cameras, have their work showcased in the Priestley Centre and shadow a busy Telegraph & Argus photographer to get an insight into the hectic and exciting life of a newspaper photographer.
All you have to do is trawl the area - the building must have a BD postcode - to find your favourite building or one which you feel will make the best picture.
There are three categories for entry:
l black and white;
l colour; and
l interpretative (images which are reprocessed chemically, digitally or optically).
Priestley Centre staff felt that the competition was in keeping with Bradford's Capital of Culture 2008 bid. They hope to show the entries in the gallery at the centre.
The overall winner will have the chance to spend a day shadowing a T&A photographer, will have their work included in a special feature in the newspaper, an exhibition in the Priestley Centre Art Gallery and a bag of photographic goodies from Jessop's.
The winner will also receive five tickets for any production at the Priestley Centre this autumn.
The deadline for the competition is Friday, September 13.
Entries, which have to be 8ins by 10ins, should be mounted on card.
The T&A's assistant editor for sports and pictures, Simon Waites, will be judging the competition with Asadour Guzelian, of Guzelian Photography in Saltaire, and Mike England, manager of Jessop's Bradford branch.
The contest is open to any amateur photographer.
Those who do not have access to a darkroom can have their prints developed elsewhere but they must state who has done the printing.
This may be taken into account by the judges.
Take your entry along to the Priestley Centre, Chapel Street, Little Germany, Bradford, during evenings until the deadline.
