Ten-year-old Elizabeth Wade, of Silsden, waited all summer to see her pop hero Gareth Gates at the Party in the Park in Bingley on Sunday.
But by the time he appeared on stage at Myrtle Park, Elizabeth was nursing a broken arm in hospital.
The Keighley St Anne's Primary School pupil slipped and broke her left arm as she strained to see the giant screen, and ended up at Airedale General Hospital at Steeton near Keighley.
"I had been looking forward to seeing Gareth all summer since mum bought the tickets. I was really upset. I didn't even get a memento," said Elizabeth, pictured.
Mum Alison, 39, said: "We queued about an hour and had only been in about 20 minutes when she fell.
"Elizabeth's a big Gareth fan and has both his singles, so she was very disappointed."
Elizabeth was due in school today and hopes to have the pot off within four to six weeks.
