Pudsey Congs sit on the verge of history going into the penultimate weekend of the Bradford League season.

With an 11-point gap over fierce rivals St Lawrence, Congs are poised to grab an historic treble of championships tomorrow.

One last blast from the awesome Pakistani pace bowler Naveed Rana-ul-Hassan should do the trick. The quickie grabbed nine for 47 in last week's easy win over poor Lightcliffe.

A victory of any description against Cleckheaton will hand Congs both their third Division One title in a row and the third trophy of the season.

Easily the league's dominant side, both in batting and bowling, the league leaders will be looking for the win that means retaining the championship on home soil.

But Cleckheaton who were saved from relegation by this month's rule change, will play their hearts out to throw a spanner in the works of the Congs who seemed to have more than recovered from their mid-season wobble.

St Lawrence face third-place Undercliffe as they fight to remain in the battle for the title.

Nothing short of a maximum points win will suffice if they are to retain any hope of the coveted trophy, while Undercliffe will be looking to force their way into the runners-up spot.

At the other end, Lightcliffe, face a trip to Farsley desperate for any points that could save them from the drop.

Mathematically they are still in with a shout but it will take a huge amount of skill and fortune to retain a place in the top flight.

Yeadon need a win on their tough trip to East Bierley to ensure safety.

In Division Two, Gomersal welcome Bowling Old Lane as they bid to remain at the top.

All tomorrow's games commence at 12.30pm
