James Lowes readily admits that the Leeds v Bradford derby is a huge domestic game.
But the 32-year-old hooker is quick to add that it is nothing to do with the fact that he used to be a Rhino.
"It was my shortest stint at a club," explained the former Great Britain international.
"I had six years at Hunslet, four at Leeds and I've been with the Bulls for seven years now."
Lowes, needs one try to make it 600 points in his career, continued: "It is just because it is a big derby.
"I live about two miles from Headingley and I am surrounded by Leeds fans who are continually giving me some stick about the Bulls.
"But that is all part of the banter that goes on, and it is what makes the Bulls v the Rhinos the biggest game."
Lowes, who currently stands third in the all-time Super League appearance list with 165, added: "It's also two sides that are in the top six and battling for the play-off spots, so I am looking forward to it immensely."
Incidentally, Lowes is only bettered in the appearance list by Leeds centre Keith Senior (169, including three as a substitute) - a try-scorer in Leeds' last seven matches - and Wigan loose forward Andy Farrell (166).
Lowes is ahead of Wigan duo Mick Cassidy (162, including 21 as a substitute) and Kris Radlinski (141).
Tevita Vaikona, who has slipped to sixth in the list of premier try-scorers this season, knows only too well what difficulties playing in front of the Rhinos' home crowd entails.
"There are no easy opponents now," admitted the 28-year-old Tongan.
"Everyone has something to play for, and Leeds, along with the other sides in the top eight, are playing well and looking to finish in the top six, and even then as high as possible.
"It won't be easy for us because as well as it being the biggest game for both sides, it is at Headingley.
"Their supporters really get behind their team at home and they like to beat us, make no mistake about it!"
Vaikona added: "I was pleased with how we played last week and we are looking to significantly improve as we go on and get back to the way we know we can play as we prepare to complete the run-in to the play-offs."
