Nicky Law is itching to see the best of Robert Molenaar.
The City boss has witnessed only glimpses of the Dutch defender's form because of a string of injuries.
Molenaar defied a groin strain to play against Rotherham last week - only his second full game since Law took over eight months ago.
But Law is convinced a fully-fit Terminator, whose display earned him a place in the Nationwide team of the week along with Michael Proctor, has a major role to perform.
He said: "From what I've seen so far Bob can be a big player and a big part of our team."
Molenaar, who missed the final four months of last season with a rib injury, said: "It's been a very frustrating time after last year.
"After getting a little niggle halfway through pre-season, I've been playing catch-up. But the boss has been desperate for numbers and with the shortage of personnel, I felt it was worth the gamble playing the Rotherham game.
"The experts wrote us off but we don't take any notice of them. I would say that up to now the confidence within the team is higher than at any time I've been here."
