Oakworth boy Connor O'Neill had a woof time when he went fishing for crabs while on holiday in the Isle of Man.
Instead of catching a little nipper he was shocked to find a two-foot-long dogfish on the end of his line.
Other people using the beach-sided jetty crowded round as the eight-year-old struggled with the fish.
Connor says: "When I saw it my eyes nearly popped out. I've never seen one before."
Connor, Of Dockroyd Lane, was spending a fortnight on the Isle of Man with his grandparents Peter and Kathleen Bethell.
