Keighley councillors have called for an increased police presence in the Lund Park area after 20 cars had their windows smashed.
About 20 cars parked in Selbourne Grove, Malsis Road and Hillworth Lodge were vandalised only last week.
"It seems to be generally becoming destructive again," said Keighley South Councillor Steve Thomas. "It's a shame because most people round here live together peacefully. It's only a small minority that cause the trouble. I will be looking for a swift meeting with the police. The police are saying things are getting better, but this sort of thing saps people's confidence. It is beginning to have an effect on the community."
Keighley West councillor Barry Thorne says the police need to crack down on the yobs responsible for the kind of anti-social behaviour that reared its ugly head in the area last autumn.
He says: "We need high profile policing because a lot are gathering in the area again and causing trouble, especially around Branshaw School."
He has requested that the POP (problem orientated policing) team step up patrols of the area. He has also contacted Keighley's assistant area co-ordinator Jeff Bennett in the hope of arranging a public meeting in the coming weeks.
