Keighley children are to be given a model lesson in rail safety.
Model railway enthusiasts have presented operator Arriva Trains Northern with a specially built prop to help highlight the dangers of playing near tracks.
It will be used as a teaching aid by the company's school liaison officer Chris Leech.
The three-dimensional model has been made and donated by the Skipton and District Railway Society.
Mr Leech said: "This is a superb tool that will help me realistically demonstrate to local children what kind of dangers they could face if they were to trespass on to railway lines and the potential consequences of their actions.
"The model is very well constructed and I have no doubt it will play a major role in my programme of visits to schools across the area."
The railway society's chairman, Trevor Shaw, said he was delighted that the group's skills and expertise could be put to practical use.
He added: "We make a lot of models, which means there are often materials going spare.
"We decided to put them together and make the model. I hope it proves useful for many years to come."
