Glusburn boy Christopher Town has a killer role in a TV drama next Monday.
The nine-year-old, of Bungalow Road, plays acid bath murderer John George Haigh as a child.
Martin Clunes plays the evil charmer -- who murdered six people in London in the 1940s -- as an adult in the major ITV film A is for Acid.
Haigh dissolved the bodies of his victims in the vats of acid, and was hung for his crimes in 1949. Christopher plays Haigh as a 10-year-old boy in the opening scenes of the drama, which begins at 9am.
He was chosen because casting directors needed a blond-haired child who could also play the organ and sing.
Although he is not on screen at the same time as Clunes, Christopher met the Men Behaving Badly actor on a couple of occasions.
Christopher, who attends Sutton Community Primary School, has performed in numerous local shows, done child modelling, and appeared in the CITV comedy series Wilmot.
