Ten-year-old Elizabeth Wade, of Silsden, waited all summer to see her pop hero Gareth Gates at the Party in the Park in Bingley on Sunday.
But by the time he appeared on stage at Myrtle Park, Elizabeth was in Airedale Hospital, Steeton.
The pupil at St Anne's primary school, Keighley, had slipped and broken her left arm as she strained to see the giant screen.
"I had been looking forward to seeing Gareth all summer since mum bought the tickets. I was really upset," said Elizabeth.
Mum Alison, 39, said: "We queued about an hour and had only been in about 20 minutes when she fell."
