A Keighley music promoter has blasted local bands for their lack of commitment.
Keighley outfits are failing to sign-up to the Mmmproductions record label run by Braithwaite man Michael Thompson, pictured.
He says the result is that most of his promo CDs are coming from bands outside the local area.
"The main aim of my setting up the label was to secure deals for one of the town's acts," says Mr Thompson.
"This ideal has had to be put on one side, but the continued emergence of a credible record company from Keighley continues."
Mr Thompson says his label Mmmproductions is also hampered by difficulties in distributing the discs.
Despite the obstacles, he says: "The number of artists contacting Mmmproductions is ever-growing."
The latest demo CDs come from Curly Circus and Northumberland band Junkster.
Mr Thompson says his next release will be before Christmas, and will "surprise a few people".
