Tomorrow will see the debut of a new singer and a new song when Keighley band The Wilderness returns to Keighley.
The covers band will perform its first self-written song, which was premiered recently during a gig in Coventry.
The well-received number will be aired tomorrow at the New Variety Club, Russell Street, Keighley.
New vocalist Natalie Lane will make her debut and continue with the band at Maguire's, Leeds, on September 21, and in Ipswich on September 28.
n Local folk performer Jim Woodland is the first guest at the new home of the Bacca Pipes Folk Club. Singer, songwriter and musician Jim appears tonight from 8.30pm following performances by regular members.
For the past few months the Bacca Pipes has met at St Anne's Social Club, in North Street. Previously it met at the Ukrainian Club, but had to leave when the premises next to Devonshire Park closed down.
Now the Bacca Pipes is again back with the Ukrainians, at their new base in Keighley town centre.
Coming up is poetry night (September 13), The Durbervilles (27), and Napper and Bliss (October 25), and singers' nights every other Friday.
