Pupils at Oakbank School have been helping a tour guide plan a heritage trail around Keighley.
The two groups of year 11 girls from the Keighley school have been working with Skipton Experience tour guide Malcolm Hanson.
And they have re-discovered the grave of a famous Keighley archaeologist and the town's own Little Italy.
The project -- on behalf of Keighley Health Group -- has been under way for several weeks.
Mr Hanson said: "It has involved planning and walking a route that takes in most of the town's historical hotspots, as well as lesser known areas."
Among the places the students have yet to map out are the river Aire and Utley cemetery.
The trail will end at Keighley's Market Cross, in Church Green, but not before a visit to the grave of "Old Three Laps"--- a man who reputedly spent 49 years in bed after being jilted at the altar.
