Extra large plates have been produced to satisfy the festive feeding habits of customers at a Keighley restaurant.
Toby Carvery manager Brian Moyle commissioned the plates -- one and a half inches wider and deeper than their predecessors -- to cater for demand from hungry visitors.
The extra space allows your average diner at the Bradford Road restaurant to pile on up to ten more potatoes, an additional four Yorkshire puddings and another cauliflower, and cover the lot with half a pint of gravy!
Mr Moyle said: "We've always allowed guests to return as many times as they like to the carvery deck to fill up on veg, stuffing and cranberry sauce.
"We thought we'd save our customers a journey by supplying an extra inch and a half of space on their plate -- and it's not just for Christmas! This present will be a permanent fixture, so carvery lovers can make the most of their meal all year round."
