A 54-year-old binman has been killed in an accident with a dustbin wagon in Bradford.
The tragedy happened at Kesteven Court, Holme Wood, at yesterday morning.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the local man was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
A spokesman for Bradford Council confirmed a person had died.
Richard Wixey, director of environmental protection, said: "We wish to send our condolences to the deceased's family. He was a well-liked member of our team.
"This was a tragic incident and we cannot comment any further at this point as a full investigation has been launched to find out why this accident happened."
