Cubs Under-14s 58 - After a week's rest this was a good opener in the second half of the season with Cubs lying six points clear at the top of the table. It was played in freezing conditions and all players did well. Tries were shared out equally between the backs and forwards, with Adam Wilkinson's being the pick of the tries after he ran three-quarters of the length of the field.
The team was swapped round in key positions to try players out for possible injuries showing that training sessions are being understood
Joe Milner was man of the match and Joe Kennedy took the man of steel award. The 'most improved' award went to the ever-eager Scott Arbuthnott. This week's game is away to Dudley Hill.

Despite a three week lay-off and jut eleven players, Town blitzed the South Yorkshire side with a total of seven tries, five coming from the new centre/wing partnership of Gavin Duffy (2) and Jason Scott (3). Strong running from props Ben Woollard and Joe Short enabled tries to be scored from the forwards too with Woollard and Alex Sawley going over. Duffy completed the scoring with two conversions.
