MEMBERS of the Bismillah Karate Club have enjoyed success at the national championships -- and in black belt grading sessions.
They picked up a string of medals at the SKU National Championships which were held in Manchester.
Carly Robertson picked up gold in the under 4ft 6ins girls with Akeel Kahan 1st in the under 4ft 6ins boys while Matthew Whittaker was third in the same category.
Joanne Robertson also picked up a gold medal in the Under 5ft girls event while Umar Mahroof and Ednan Aktar shared third place in the 16-17-year-old boys open event.
Amjid Hussain was second in the Mens Over 75k class.
Four members of the club went on to earn their black belts at a special grading sessions with 11-year-old Matthew Whitaker becoming the club's youngest holder of the black belt.
The club meets at Haworth Methodist Church and is to hold its Club Championship from 11am tomorrow (Saturday).
"It should be a superb day of competition and I would like anyone to drop and and watch the action," said Mo Ilyas.
