A 20mph speed zone is set to be imposed on three town centre streets in Keighley.
Keighley area committee approved plans to introduce the new traffic management scheme in Highfield Lane, Cartmel Road and Redcliffe Street, at a cost of £96,000.
The cash will come from the Highfield single regeneration pot, the local transport budget and the schools review programme. The speed limit will apply to the whole length of Highfield Lane.
The scheme will also involve laying down road humps along Highfield Lane with the exception of a stretch between Cartmel Road and Drewery Road. A raised carriageway will be at the junction of Belgrave Road and Highfield Lane. Waiting restrictions are planned for Highfield Lane.
