Residents in Canterbury and Little Horton are enjoying tidier streets thanks to a special clean-up.
The police, Bradford Council and the city's probation service organised the clean-up after the areas were identified by the Home Office as one of the five national pilot Policing Priority Areas this March.
And on Sunday more than 30 staff from Bradford Council's cleansing department and the Probation Service cleared away at least 12 tonnes of waste.
Police Chief Superintendent David Richardson said: "The removal of so much waste will have a big impact on the environment and demonstrates our efforts to improve the area for the local community.''
