Plans for a new school in Cullingworth were given the go-ahead.
Shipley Area Planning Panel has approved a new building on disused land off Halifax Road.
Outline planning permission to move Cullingworth Primary School was given in October, subject to conditions, which the panel decided were acceptable at the latest meeting. The conditions included re-planning the school's entrance to avoid traffic dangers.
Bryan Hickson, chairman of Culling-worth Parish Council, said villagers have been campaigning for the relocation for four years.
The new building will be built by Bovis Lend Lease so it can be ready for the next school year. The site includes a cycle route alongside the school which will become part of the Sustrans network.
