Delroy Facey looks set to go head-to-head with his former City team-mates today.
The striker returned to Bolton this week after his loan spell and could be playing against a Bantams reserve side in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
With no second team fixture until the New Year, Nicky Law is sending a strong reserve team to the Premiership's side training ground for the practice game.
Law has been left with no recognised strikers for the busy festive period after Facey was recalled by boss Sam Allardyce after six matches on loan at the Bradford & Bingley Stadium. He scored just the one goal, on his debut against Wimbledon. With Michael Ricketts out with a groin injury, Allardyce wanted to keep his options open as Bolton enter their run of four games in ten days.
"Sam will want to have a look at Delroy now he is injury-free," said a spokesman for the Premiership side. There is every chance he will feature in this reserve game. We really do understand Bradford's plight but we need our man back as cover."
The Bantams enter a run of four vital games with no strikers and having scored just two goals in the last five games.
