Keighley detectives are carrying out house-to-house inquiries close to Denholme Post Office which was raided on Tuesday.
Masked robbers brandishing a sword and a shotgun stole money. Two postmistresses and two female customers watched terrified as the three men swooped at 10.30am. One was carrying what they believed was a shotgun and another a sword.
They broke into the counter area and stole a quantity of money from the post office.
They took a purse from one of the shocked customers and tried to steal the other woman's purse.
The men, all wearing dark clothing and balaclavas, es-caped in a silver Honda.
In another incident, on Monday, a gang of three or four men carrying a shotgun and a sledgehammer burst into the post office on Livingstone Road, Bolton Woods, and stole cash.
