The Bees hope to break their fifth-round bogey tomorrow in the Powergen Intermediate Cup.
The unbeaten North Two East club are at home to Midlands Division One club Dunstablians in the last 32 (1.45) but have lost at this stage twice previously.
Dunstablians, the only previous winners left in this year's event (they won it in 2000), are on an Intermediate Cup record run of 13 successive victories, their last loss being in December, 1998 to Dudley Kingswinford, now in National League Three North.
Bees' director of rugby Geoff Cooke said: "It will be an interesting tie. We have seen video footage of their 21-13 league defeat at Spal-ding last Saturday, but it wasn't very good video foot-age and that can be deceptive.
"However, they looked big and ponderous and will cause us problems in the scrum and through picking and driving. But I don't think they'll worry us outside."
The Bees are set to be without second-row Rob Woodhead ('dead leg') but they should have flanker Mark Thomas available.
Bradford Salem, who are at home to Ponteland in the Powergen Junior Vase fifth round (2.00), have a more impressive national cup record than Dunstablians.
The Yorkshire Division Three promotion chasers won the event in its first two stagings and have only lost one of their 23 ties - at Old Otliensians in last season's second round. "We're really looking forward to it - the lads are up for it big time," revealed Salem's first-team manager Paul Rae.
Former skipper Terry Franklin keeps his place at scrum half, and prop Simon Davies is on the bench after a shoulder injury.
