Unlike earlier this year, Bradford Bulls chairman Chris Caisley is refusing to be drawn into a war of words with St Helens coach Ian Millward.
In this month's issue of Rugby League World magazine, Saints coach Millward predicted that Caisley would come out with some "stupid comments" in the weeks leading up to the Tetley's Super League opener between the clubs at Knowsley Road on Friday, February 21.
And the Australian added that the Bulls would "talk for weeks and weeks about revenge" and "definitely keep talking about the Grand Final", which Saints controversially won 19-18 against the Bulls.
But Odsal spokesman Stuart Duffy said today: "I can assure you that the chairman will not be responding to Mr Millward's attempt to swell the crowd for the opening fixture.
"As a club we are more focused on our first home league game, when we return to Odsal against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on Sunday, March 9.
"All we want from our trip to Knowsley Road is two points, and we will certainly not be mentioning the Grand Final in the build-up."
Duffy added: "We will ensure that our homecoming to Odsal against Wakefield will be a tremendous occasion, and our award-winning game-day experience will be better than ever.
"At £28, which is £1 a game over the regular season, our season ticket rates for under-16s will be seen to represent excellent value."
