Shipley's crib has again been the victim of heartless thieves and vandals. Since the crib was put up in the town's Arndale Centre a week ago, the collecting box built into it has been smashed several times and money taken.

The Northern Children's Theatre opened a two-weeks holiday season at the Bradford Civic Playhouse with 'The Little Dragon'. In a legendary Chinese setting there was full scope for a lavish display of costume, and in this and the ingenious scenery, the theatre showed much imagination.
