An Elvis Presley fanatic is to sell one of the favourite items in his collection, an original 45rpm recording signed by The King himself.

Bradford student Graham Knowles, 43, pictured, who has transformed his home on Lodore Road, Bolton, into a shrine to Elvis, has been collecting memorabilia since he was ten-years-old.

He owns a lock of Elvis's hair, a silk scarf worn by The King and 1,000 original pressings of his records.

But Graham has now decided to put up one of his items for sale, a signed 7ins version of Elvis's 1974 hit Help Me, for £525.

The former engineer, who is studying for a psychology degree at Bradford University, said: "I already have another of Elvis's autographs so I think it is only right that somebody else should have the chance to own one."

Lee Dawson, president of the Independent Elvis Presley Fan Club, said: "This is a real gem. Genuine Elvis autographs are pretty rare so he should have no problem selling it."
