Bradford Park Avenue take to the field today without Rory Prendergast.
With the winger running out at Whitby Town after his move to rivals Accrington Stanley, Trevor Storton's men will have to do battle for the first time without their inspirational winger.
Harrogate Town are the visitors to Horsfall Stadium as Avenue look for their first league win in six weeks.
Since Prendergast's surprise departure to Lancashire, Storton has been scouring the leagues for a replacement, and the first of an expected two new faces at the club appears today in the form of Simon Collins.
The 29-year-old midfielder, who can also play at the back, is expected to make his debut against Harrogate.
Collins, who Storton believes can be a major influence on the side, arrived from Belper Town but has plenty of Football League experience after stints with Huddersfield Town, Plymouth Argyle, Macclesfield Town and Shrewsbury Town.
Storton is also hoping to draft in an 11th hour replacement on the left-wing as he looks to plug the massive gap left by the departure of the wing wizard last weekend.
"Of course we are going to miss Rory," said Storton, whose side have not won a league game since November 9.
"But we will be looking for other players to step up and do a job for us today and for the rest of the season.
"Things haven't gone our way of late, but we are looking to turn the corner and there is no reason why it shouldn't happen today.
"If we keep doing the things we have been doing, then it will work out for us."
Storton will be without long-term injury victims Jason Maxwell and Martin James, while defender Matt Daly is also likely to miss out with a hamstring problem.
But the side will be boosted by the expected return of Andy Quinn, out since November 2 when an x-rated challenge by Runcorn's Grant Salmon left him with nasty ankle ligament damage.
Quinn is expected to make the bench, while Phil Atkinson, missing from recent squads with a bout of the flu, is likely to start against the newly-promoted visitors.
Harrogate have struggled to settle in the Premier Division despite the influx of many new faces during an expensive off-season.
Although their form has picked up of late, they are still only 14th place in the table. "It is a winnable game for us," added Storton.
"They are not a bad side, capable of hitting teams on the break.
"But if play to our potential then we should be okay. We need to get that winning habit back."
