Brave-hearted revellers in Ilkley are being invited to greet the New Year by taking an icy dip at White Wells.
The famous Ilkley Moor spa cottage will be open on January 1 and anyone who thinks they can endure the chilly spring waters of its ancient plunge bath will be welcomed.
A "book of the brave" is also being kept which will log how long each volunteer stays in the water, with towels and a fire provided to help participants recover.
Last year, around 75 people took the plunge and resident Mark Hunnebell is hoping it will prove even more popular this time.
He said: "We had a lot of people in last time throughout the course of the day, with their family and friends coming along too to have a laugh at them.
"We're anticipating similar numbers this year, or hopefully even more, and there will be hot food served during the day to warm them all back up again!"
Pie and peas, plus a vegetarian option, will be on offer at White Wells from 10am to 5pm on New Year's Day. The event is traditionally very popular with people coming from far and wide to watch and take part.
Meanwhile, anyone who can't wait until then can experience the plunge bath's pleasures today up until 5pm.
