Young rugby players from Bronte House School at Apperley Bridge are celebrating after taking two major trophies and making one of the most successful starts to the season ever.
The Under-11s squad has won two tournaments taking The Lewis Booth seven-a-side Trophy at Malsis School where they competed against schools from as far away as Edinburgh and Devon.
Progressing through the various rounds, Bronte House met the hosts in the final and pulled off a convincing 24-0 victory.
They last won the trophy in the 1998/99 season.
The success was swiftly followed by victory in the Harrison Cup held at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Wakefield, against seven local schools where in the final they defeated St Olave's of York 19-0.
Bronte House is the Junior School for Woodhouse Grove which is recognised as a centre for sporting excellence and is currently used for training by members of the famous Bradford Bulls Rugby League squad.
Headmaster Chris Hall said: "The boys have made a tremendous start to the season and are certainly amongst the best we've ever had. They work hard, play well together as a team and their success is richly deserved."
The boys are now looking forward to the annual Edinburgh Tour where they take on teams from George Watson's School and Edinburgh Academy.
