Ilkley Karate Club's annual presentation night saw a total off 50 trophies and medals, over £600 worth, presented to the students young and old that had done well over the year.
It had been one of the best years results wise since the club was formed 13 years ago.
Out of a total of seven competitions entered (regional, national and open tournaments) the students who took part managed to come away with 88 trophies (26 first place, 29 second place and 33 third place trophies) more than doubling last year's trophy haul.
This was out of an average 15 students taking part on a regular basis, which is an incredible achievement for a small club, which is now highly ranked in West Yorkshire.
Andrew Johnston (11), Ashley Woodhouse (14) and Laurie Picken (11) were the top students who managed to win 27 trophies between them.
Results for the annual awards were: Matthew Turnbull Memorial Shield - Helen Sugden (10). Grading Champions - Steve and Emma Fell. Cadet of the Year - Andrew Johnston (11).
Club Instructor Mark Outterside, a 4th degree black belt and former English Champion, operates a league system for his students who are awarded points for their achievements. This has now been adopted across the country by other coaches.
