Bradford Education Comm-ittee expects to overspend nearly £100,000 in the year ending 31 March. Its Finance Sub-committee has informed the Corporation's Estimates Sub-committee that the department expects that £98,635 will be overspent. Mr. A. Spalding, Director of Education, told the "Telegraph & Argus" about threequarters of the overspending would be as a result of salary and wage awards and rate increases.
