The Keighley Community Transport appeal has been given another boost with a donation from Merlin Court.
KCT chairman Brian Hudson visited the sheltered housing complex, off South Street, to receive a cheque for over £200.
Residents at the complex had organised a series of fundraising events, including raffles and bingo, collecting a total of £213 for the appeal.
The donation brings the grand total to £1,500 raised since the arson attack last month that destroyed two vehicles used for transporting disabled and wheelchair bound people.
Mr Hudson said: "To have people reach that total in a month, it's fantastic. We are all so very grateful to the people of Keighley.
"I nearly filled up at Merlin Court -- it got a bit emotional. They did very well.
"They were all saying it's an on-going thing and they are still collecting.
"Everyone is telling us that there's more to come. People have really rallied round us."
