Brian Noble hasn't ruled out playing Leon Pryce during his forthcoming trial.
The 21-year-old utility back is due in Crown Court on Monday, March 17 - eight days after the Bulls return to league action at Odsal after a three-year absence - to formally enter his plea.
He is charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm with intent following an incident in the Walkabout bar in Bradford's West End on September 14 last year.
"Whether Leon plays or not is something we will have to discuss with him," said Noble.
"That date is only a few weeks into the Super League season (the Bulls start at St Helens on February 21), and we need to see how he shapes up in pre-season training first.
"But we are certainly not going to ban him from the club or anything like that."
