Bradford Bulls chairman Chris Caisley has admitted that time is tight if Odsal is needed to stage a TXU Energi Challenge Cup tie on the weekend of February 9 and 10.
Caisley (pictured) said: "Work started yesterday on turning the Trevor Foster Lounge into an office block to house the marketing, community, administration and finance departments.
"However, there are going to be a number of other new facilities, and we still have to finish working on the floodlights, toilet blocks and bars.
"There are just under five weeks to go, but there are already some new seats in place in the main stand.
"There is also a lot of painting and decorating and joinery work to be done, but it is going to be tight.
"The fourth-round of the Challenge Cup is scheduled for the weekend of February 9-10, and it would be useful if we got an away draw to give us another fortnight to get things finished."
Caisley, meanwhile, said he was delighted last week when Stuart Fielden put pen to paper on a new five-year deal with the Bulls.
"Stuart is undoubtedly one of the best props in the world, and we will see a lot more improvement in him over a number of years," said Caisley.
