One of Yorkshire's most prolific artists, Philip Waterhouse, is staging a one man exhibition at Bingley Library. The artist's pen, line and wash catches the passing scene and records some of Yorkshire's beauty spots in a meticulous manner. Mr Waterhouse is obviously much travelled, for his output is impressive in size and scope.

The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Alderman John Shee, and the Lady Mayoress, Miss Mary Shee, attended the fiftieth annual treat for the disabled at Eastbrook Hall, Bradford, yesterday. The function, organised by the Rev. Maurice Barnett (superintendent of Bradford Methodist Mission) was attended by more than 400 Bradford disabled people and 100 physically handicapped children from Lister Lane School.
