Last season Karl Harrison said it was probably an unrealistic target, but he wanted Bradford Bulls to go through 2002 unbeaten.
Phil Veivers, his replacement as assistant coach, isn't being quite so bold about 2003, but his message today is confident nevertheless.
The Australian said as the Bulls headed for their nine-day warm-weather training camp in Vilamoura, Portugal: "Our target this season is to win both the Challenge Cup and the Grand Final.
"We are not arrogant people, but we have set ourselves what we consider realistic targets."
Veivers is the Bulls' offensive coach and said: "I will be giving a couple of lectures while I am over there on what I want in that area this season.
"I am also coach to the outside backs and will be talking to them on an individual basis."
Veivers added: "The top five teams last season all went on warm weather training camps pre-season, and the ones that didn't were the also-rans.
"From this you can see how important it is for clubs. We can train on a decent running track rather than on something which is wet or boggy, and the nine days set the basis for the rest of the season."
l Bulls winger Nicky Johnson has joined London Broncos on a two-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old has come through the Academy system at Odsal and was an England Academy tourist in 2001, scoring in the second Test victory over New Zealand in Christchurch.
He also scored a hat-trick in the 86-14 defeat of Kazan Arrows last April.
