James Hoyle led the way as the North overwhelmed London in the opening game of this season's 18 Group Schools Divisional Championship.
The Sedbergh centre scored two of his side's five tries in an impressive 35-0 win at Nottingham High School.
His first score, converted by fly-half Toby Flood sent the North in with a 7-0 lead at the break and they cut loose in the second-half. Hoyle added a second with the rest of the scores coming from No. 8 Adam Newton, wing Toby Rowland and replacement forward David Cullen.
Flood added three more conversions with replacement Andrew Silley (Woodhouse Grove) adding the extra points to Cullen's try.
The South West came from behind to beat the Midlands 13-5. The North now tackle the South West and London take on the Midlands at Castlecroft, near Wolverhampton, in the next round of divisional matches on January 26.
