Proving that the Keighley News is out of this world is soldier Tommy Thompson.
He is seen clutching his favourite read - and a photograph of his son Kurtus - at the NASA Space Centre in Houston, Texas.
Tommy - a corporal with the Duke of Wellington Regiment (West Yorkshire), stationed in Canada - has visited many parts of the USA, and while in Texas with army colleagues also called at the Alamo.
He is in regular contact with his family back home in Keighley, and is sent a copy of the KN every week by his sister Mary.
Tommy, who joined the army after leaving school 18 years ago, receives the newspaper wherever he is posted. His past postings have included Germany, Kenya and Northern Ireland. And he stockpiles copies of the KN to distribute to any fellow Keighley soldiers he meets on manoeuvres or during his travels.
