A Riddlesden woman who has thoroughly enjoyed her career in the kitchen at Eastwood School has praised the staff and pupils.
Unit manager Irene Moses has spent 20 years working at the school, and as she left on Tuesday for the last time she said she had loved her time there.
"I've had my moans and groans at Eastwood like anyone really, but I can honestly say I've loved it," said Mrs Moses.
She added: "My work mainly involved preparing the food in the canteen and it's been really good. The head teacher and staff at the school are lovely and as for the children, well you'd be a very sad person for children not to make you smile."
Mrs Moses was presented with flowers, some jewellery and champagne. Now with her free time she has one holiday planned and intends to go on regular holidays in a new caravan.
