A model airship found at Riddlesden is to be reunited with its owner following a Keighley News appeal.
The giant radio-controlled craft was discovered in the grounds of the Riddlesden and Morton United Services Club - known as the Applegarth - on New Year's Day.
Efforts by club assistant steward Molly Crossley to find the owner drew a blank.
But following a story in this week's Keighley Target, the mystery has been resolved.
The owner has been unveiled as local roofer Joss Carr, who was given the model as a Christmas present by his wife Jeanette.
It is believed the helium-filled craft - which is intended for indoor use only - escaped unnoticed and took to the air during a New Year's Eve party at the family's Southlands Road home.
"We realised it had gone when we were taking down the decorations," said Jeanette, a community psychiatric nurse (memory services).
"We were gutted. Joss is a bit of a gadget man and I had bought him the airship through the Internet as a surprise Christmas present. I thought it was lost for good, so it was wonderful when we learned it had turned up." The couple - and their daughters Jaella, 13 tomorrow, and nine-year-old Joely - will be reunited with the model next week.
Joss, 38, told us: "I'm chuffed to bits. It was a great present - I'm a bit of a big kid - and we were devastated when it disappeared."
