Silsden reached the quarter-final of the West Riding County Challenge Cup - as their fourth round game against Brackenhall United ended amid violent scenes.
Police were called to escort the visiting Huddersfield team out of the area after threats were made to players and spectators.
The cup holders scored three second half goals to clinch victory, but Brackenhall, who have been Huddersfield League champions for the last three years made them work hard.
The first half was avery even battle with keeper Martin Foulger keeping Silsden in the game with two crucial saves.
He pulled off another vital stop early in the second half and punted the ball to Mick Ward who crossed for Jimmy Spencer (pictured) to head home. Ten minutes later Martin Bland hit the back of the net from the edge of the box.
Mick Ward saw his shot saved by the keeper but Spencer followed up to slot the ball home and secure the 3-0 victory.
The win justified Silsden's determination to get the game on despite it being 'called off' twice earlier int he day.
"The ground was very frosty, but we rolled the bumps off and were confident the sun would thaw things out in time for kick-off," said coach Andy Geary.
The quarter-final draw took place at West Riding FA's Woodlesford HQ on Wednesday with Silsden facing an away tie against either Wibsey or Storthes Hall. The other ties are: Barnoldswick United v Baildon Trinity or Lower Ogden, Littletown v Thorn Colliery or Tyersal and Horsforth St Margarets v Whitkirck Wanderers.
n In the Sunday Trophy Silsden or AFC Fleece take on Shipley town or Rawdon and in the Under-14s Cup Silsden or Bingley Juniors meet Garforth Rangers or Thornes Juniors.
