Traffic police and the DVLA have been out in force catching and clamping untaxed motorists - including fining a hearse.
The team have been at locations across the Spen Valley, including Cleckheaton, Batley and Dewsbury.
Dewsbury division's traffic commander, Sergeant Alan Kaye, said they had worked alongside the DVLA using its mobile camera unit and registration plate recognition system to pull vehicles that had no tax.
On Monday, 19 vehicles were clamped in Dewsbury and 11 paid a release fee of £200. On Tuesday in Batley, 17 were clamped and 12 paid a release fee and in Cleckheaton on Wednesday and Thursday, 16 were clamped.
During their stint in Dewsbury, a hearse was fined for having no tax - and a man set his car alight at the side of the road in protest at being clamped.
