A 16-year-old boy has been given a three-month curfew order after robbing a teenager.
Bradford Crown Court heard how 18-year-old Jason Thompson was walking along a snicket with a friend last March when Lee Walker and another male came up behind them.
Mr Thompson felt a blow to the back of his head and fell down. He was taken to a derelict garage. Walker told him to take off his two rings, a chain and a watch while the other male searched through Mr Thompson's pockets and removed his mobile phone. The total value of the property taken in the robbery was estimated to be £600.
Walker then left the scene near Little Horton Lane in Bradford after he threatened to cut Mr Thompson's throat if he called the police.
Mitigating, David Kelly said Walker had been angry with Mr Thompson after his younger brother had been threatened with a handgun on an earlier occasion. He said Mr Thompson had the gun and Walker felt he should hand it over.
Walker, of Arum Street, Canterbury, Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of robbery. He will be electronically tagged and was given a supervision order for six months.
