A woman planning to surprise her husband by reuniting him with his sister on German TV is appealing to Bradford people for help.
Cornelia Burke, who lives in Herne, Germany, is hoping to trace her husband Stephen's elder sister Karen Page.
The siblings were both born at St Luke's Hospital in Bradford - Stephen in 1971 and Karen in about 1969. When their mother Denise Page became ill with cancer in 1973, the pair went to live at a catholic home for children.
Then, after their mother died in 1975 and was buried in Bradford's Scholemoor Cem-etery, Karen was adopted by Eileen and Thomas Garnett. It is thought that her adopted parents later moved to Morecambe but she stayed in Bradford.
Karen might now have a different surname, possibly Garnett after her adopted parents, or she may have married.
Stephen was adopted by Jarlath and Ellen Burke, of Doncaster. He also had another sister, Victoria, but he has no information about her.
It is thought Karen still has some relatives in Bradford and she has two children.
Stephen moved to Germany in 1993 in search of work. In 1999 he married Cornelia, a German woman who runs a campsite near Herne. They have three children.
The TV programme which plans to screen the reunion on Wednesday, January 29, is called Fliege and is watched by about 1.2 million people a day on the German das Erste channel.
