Great Britain international Karl Pratt admitted today that he has only just come to terms with the rigorous fitness schedules at Bradford Bulls.
The 22-year-old, who was signed last month after becoming a free agent, started training with the World Club champions on Thursday, January 2 after six weeks off following the Test series against New Zealand.
And the former Leeds Rhinos player said: "For the first few days with the Bulls I was so tired that I was in bed at 6.30pm."
Pratt, speaking from their warm-weather training camp in Portugal, added: "But I have become adjusted now.
"I have been on camps with the Rhinos before, but the amount of training is different here.
"The camp has been great, and all the lads and the coaching staff have been getting on really well."
Pratt can play in a number of positions - wing, stand-off, hooker or even loose forward.
"I have been training at scrum half or stand-off alongside Paul Deacon, Robbie Paul and Leon Pryce," he explained, "and hopefully I will figure there at the start of the season."
Pratt admitted that the players' minds are already turning to the warm-up match at Castleford next Friday (8pm).
He said: "You train to play, and we cannot wait to face the Tigers next week.
"It is all the lads have been talking about at the dinner table for the past couple of days, and we are really looking forward to the game."
The Bulls head back to England tomorrow.
