Bradford Park Avenue chairman Frank Thornton today promised to continue paying the players despite the club's growing financial crisis.
With no home game since Boxing Day, the UniBond League club are facing a cashflow problem and no serious income is expected through the turnstiles until February 8.
"We will continue to pay the players whatever happens," said Thornton, pictured. "The cashflow situation is tight at the best of times but without any income we are struggling.
"This club is free of debt and we want it to stay that way so we are having to find money from other sources. And if that means directors having to put their hands in their pockets then so be it."
Bad weather and floodlight problems have led to the postponement of four games this month, with the non-league club still yet to play in 2003.
Tomorrow's cup clash with Ossett is now in doubt, but even if it goes ahead the gate money will have to be split with the opponents.
And next week's home tie, a replay of the abandoned game against Harrogate, will be free admission.
