Bradford education committee's proposals to buy pianos for new schools was finally approved after months of argument. The proposal to buy two new pianos for Brookfield Infants School, first put forward last March, was amended last month to two reconditioned pianos, and a similar proposal for Eccleshill North Junior School was altered to reconditioned instruments by the finance estimates sub-committee.
