Guiseley AFC have been stunned by the recall of on loan midfielder Stewart Airdrie to Hednesford.
The Silsden-raised former Bradford City reserve arrived at Nethermoor Park for a second spell from the former Conference Club initially on loan but with a view to a permanent move.
Hednesford have however recalled him just as he was starting to show some of his old form.
He scored his first goal since returning to Guiseley colours in Saturday's 2-2 draw with table toppers Alfreton Town.
Guiseley manager Neil Parsley said: "He was probably at his most effective for us in Saturday's game and I am very disappointed to lose him at this stage."
In his latest spell with Guiseley Airdrie had played six games and was just starting to show the form he was noted for when he was first with the club after leaving Bradford City.
