The chairman of Keighley Amateurs will look backwards and forwards as she watches this year's panto production Aladdin.
Louise Hindle, who took over at the helm of the society last year, has been with the Amateurs since joining as a teenager in 1962.
She played the title role in Aladdin when it was performed for the first time by the Amateurs in 1974.
The show was the group's first at Victoria Hall after they moved from their long-time home at the Ritz cinema, in Alice Street.
Keith Marsden and Geoffrey Rundle wrote a new script to mark the move and have updated it for several productions in the years since.
This month's version has Rachel McMahon in the title role, following her successful previous appearances as panto principal boy.
Meanwhile, Louise, who was principal boy from 1965 until the 1970s, is thinking of the future as well as the past.
She has been instrumental in the decision to put boys as well as girls in the pantomime cast for the first time.
Louise leads the society's new junior singing group, whose members were drawn from recent shows such as Oliver! and Scrooge.
Several of the youngsters make-up some of the 24 boys and girls who will sing and dance during Aladdin.
The show is staged from tomorrow until February 1, at Victoria Hall, including Saturday and Sunday matinees.
