Customers at a Shipley pub were treated to a display of expert pool skills when the UK's number one women's player challenged regulars to a game.
The Half Way House in Otley Road played host to the world's fastest pool player, Sue Thompson, when she visited the Qs chain pub.
Sue holds the Guinness World Record for speed pool, clearing all 15 balls in 37.7 seconds, and took on regulars in one-on-one speed pool competitions.
The appearance came after a MORI telephone survey, commissioned by Qs, showed that 64 per cent of the 1,004 adults questioned thought men were better at pool than women.
Sue was beaten by two regulars who were each presented with a special medal.
She defeated about 20 other challengers who donated money to Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Pub manager Simon Lewis said: "It was a fantastic event. Afterwards Sue came over and said the customers had been great and had all really enjoyed it.
"She was a real character and a pleasure to have in the pub."
